What
is WordPress? |
WordPress is a FREE website/blog creation software program, which you can install
(for FREE) on virtually any website hosting platform so you can build
a website and/or blog quickly and easily within minutes.
I've
literally set client up with their own WordPress website/blog within 24 hours after I installed the software, a few
plugins, a theme of their choice, perhaps a few page place-holders,
a contact form and I was done! Next!

What
kind of websites can you build with WordPress? |
You'd
be surprised at the kind of websites (and blogs) you can design with WordPress.
Believe it or not, you can build some pretty sophisticated looking
websites with this FREE blogging software. For example, I designed
all of these websites with WordPress ...
I've
come to the realization that if I (or one of my clients) want a
website built, my first choice is to build it in WordPress.
For most of my clients, WordPress suits their needs fine. Toss in a few cool bells 'n' whistles (i.e.,
plugins) and the ability for them to maintain their own website,
and we've got a match made in heaven! Here are some other websites I've built with WordPress ...
So you can see, WordPress makes it easy to setup, design and maintain your own website/blog.

To start
using WordPress,
you must first install it on a website server. You either have to
have an existing website account in place or order hosting for one.
Let's review two important questions below:
 |
Do you already have a website, that you can add
a blog to and/or revamp your current website using WordPress?
If the answer is yes, we need to find out if you have CPANEL associated
with your website hosting package so we can quickly and easily
install it (as promised, with just a few mouse clicks). How can
you tell if you have CPANEL associated with your website hosting
account? I'll show you in the first set of video tutorials. So,
if this scenario describes you (you already have a website hosting
account), then you can bypass this section and proceed to the
video tutorials below. |
 |
Are you starting from scratch? If you do NOT have
a website and/or a blog, but you want one (or both), use WordPress to build them. First, you'll need to order a website hosting account
to install WordPress on the website server. For website hosting, I recommend HostGator.com to host all of my WordPress blogs and websites. Their hosting packages come with CPANEL and
"Fantastico" -- quick and easy. If this scenario describes
you, then click the SIGN UP TODAY button below and register for
a new website hosting account. Once signed up, return to this
page and watch my video tutorials on how to install WordPress through the CPANEL -- a few clicks of the mouse. |
