Click on a topic below to view its collection of video tutorials. Also, many of the Adobe CC video tutorials I’ve made can help anyone who has a lower version (CS3-CS6) of such software. I know this because I’ve used the lower versions before, and in comparison to CC, the basic functionality and where the tools and functions are found haven’t changed. Sure, there are some added bells ‘n’ whistles in CC, but for the most part, everything is right where it should be to use the program and that’s what these video tutorials are all about. So, enjoy!
Adobe Fireworks CS6 VIDEO TUTORIALS
Fireworks has to be THE MOST UNDERRATED GRAPHICS PROGRAM of ALL TIME! Why Adobe.com doesn’t give Fireworks more credit I have no idea. BUT, all you need to know is that I use this program 99% of the time to create, edit, save, and convert practically every image, graphic, banner, button, mock web layout, book cover, … you name it, I use Fireworks for virtually EVERYTHING when it comes to graphic design and image edit. When you see my video tutorials, you’ll see why and you’ll want to get your own copy of Fireworks for your use if you dabble in graphics and images as heavy as I do. This is not a free program, but one you purchase through Adobe.com.
Adobe Illustrator CC VIDEO TUTORIALS
While Illustrator is an awesome program, for me personally, I don’t use it so much anymore. If I do use it, it’s mostly to design a poster or something large like that because Illustrator is great for working on projects that require a very large canvas to work on and export. In this video tutorials series, I’ll go into how to use the program, show you where stuff is and go over some of the essentials you need in case you wanted to take a more advanced class on Illustrator. Illustrator is not a free program, but one you purchase through Adobe.com.
Adobe InDesign CC VIDEO TUTORIALS
Drum roll …. here’s the program I use to layout all of my paperback books (on the inside) for submission to the printer, as well as create gorgeous order forms, flyers and other documents for various uses. InDesign is not a free program, but one you purchase through Adobe.com. Is it worth getting? Absolutely if you plan on writing your own books and want to learn how to lay out the inside of the book with your written manuscript and much more. I’ve saved thousands upon thousands of dollars laying my own books out with InDesign as opposed to hiring someone to do it for me. If you’re going to write your book in Microsoft Word, you might as well learn this program too. Also, if your editor has InDesign, you can simply share the InDesign file and they can make their edits right into your InDesign file. I’ve done that before with my editor, and it saves a lot of time. That is, if your editor knows InDesign.
Adobe Photoshop CC VIDEO TUTORIALS
Like Illustrator, I don’t use Photoshop so much. I prefer to use Fireworks for 99% of my graphic design, image editing and other needs when it comes to working with graphics and images. In this series of video tutorials, I will go over what I use Photoshop for and I think you’ll be amazed, let alone educated on how to use the basics with this program. This is not a free program, but one you purchase through Adobe.com.
